This manot in 18th century belonged to the affluent Latvian mast sorter and later manufacturer Steinhauer. At the beginning of 20th century this manor belonged to family of Buxhevden. In late 1920ies manor was obtained by the owner of Baltamuiza - Univers. At the end of 1930ies it becameproperty of state.
